Leading Leadership partners with aged care organisations to turn compliance pressure, care quality issues, and workforce challenges into practical, evidence-informed solutions that strengthen care quality, confidence, and consistency.
I’m Marylouise Freeman, a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience across aged care, disability, and community health. My journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to person-centred care, clinical excellence, and sector-wide improvement.
Throughout my career, I’ve held senior leadership roles, including Principal Consultant, Facility Manager, Clinical Project Manager, and Quality Manager, which have given me a deep understanding of the challenges care providers face and the practical solutions that drive meaningful improvement. I’ve led multidisciplinary teams of over 250 staff, managed complex clinical care, and supported organisations through serious incidents, complaints, accreditation, and COVID-19 response. My work spans aged care, NDIS, and children’s services, giving me a holistic view of care systems and the people they support.
What sets me apart is my commitment to strengths-based practice. My practice is grounded in evidence and enriched by research. I work with aged care and disability providers to build capability, improve quality, and foster cultures of safety and respect. Whether I’m developing clinical frameworks, facilitating training, or guiding strategic planning, my goal is simple: to help care teams thrive and deliver care that truly matters.
I’m proud to contribute to sector innovation through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and advocacy. As an ambassador for The Waiting Room Revolution, I support conversations that empower people to make informed choices about their care. My work with aged care and disability providers focuses on building capability, improving quality, and fostering cultures of safety and respect so care teams can thrive and deliver care that truly matters.
If you’re looking for a consultant who combines clinical expertise with research insight and a deep respect for the human side of care, I’d love to connect.
